Cowhide rugs are surprisingly low maintenance. Here's what we recommend:

• Vacuum in the direction of the hair to prevent shedding
• Dust outside with a gentle shake or carpet beater
• Brush gently in the direction of the hide

For spills — a damp cloth with mildly soapy warm water works well. Stubborn stains respond to a water and white vinegar solution. Most spills simply wipe clean from the natural hide.

Placement — keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading, avoid humid areas, and rotate semi-regularly in high-traffic spaces for even wear.
